SS-31, also known as elamipretide, is a synthetic tetrapeptide containing the non-proteinogenic residue 2,6-dimethyltyrosine. It is supplied here as a lyophilized powder for laboratory research.

Reconstitution
Recommended solvent
Lyophilized peptides are reconstituted with a sterile diluent before analysis. Bacteriostatic water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative, which limits microbial growth and lets a reconstituted vial be worked with over a longer period than plain sterile water allows.

Every vial carries a live QR code. Scan it to open the third-party Certificate of Analysis issued for that specific batch — not a generic document reused across batches.
